(42, 43) Otto Sherman

How lonely is a solitary stamp?

And how lonely are the individuals out of four stamps?

Or the ones stamped in a bunch of stamps?

Created by Otto Sherman. Thanks a zillion, Otto!

One of the envelopes contained also Fish, which you can see there.

(41) Otto Sherman

Otto Sherman sent me several mail art, containing interesting artistamps and other things. Most of them clearly copyrighted by his addition 'all rights reserved', so I just post a few of them.

The envelope above, and one of the two below, was for Our Solitudes.
It makes me wonder, and it wouldn't surprise me if the answer would be: 'Very much'. To the question: people at the top, politicians, dictators: how lonely would they in fact be?

I love that drawing. Thank you very much, Otto!

(40) Anna Banana

Beautiful envelope created by Anna Banana from Canada.

Full of dots and circles. Solitude of dots??? Yes, of course this exists, I think. Perhaps metaphoric. As human beings do, also dots can feel lonely, even when surrounded by many, many other dots.

Do bananas feel the same as dots (and humans) do? Who knows. At least the banana doesn't need to be alone: Anna enclosed this call for mail art in the envelope. I guess I'm not the only one who will join by sending (drawn) bananas.

Thank you very much, Anna!
